A meteor lands on the island and emits cosmic rays that will age and kill the castaways in a week. Gilligan finds radioactive seeds, which he plants--and which produce vegetables with very unusual effects. An egotistical movie producer crashes onto the island and directs a musical version of Hamlet. Howell puts the other castaways in his will, then becomes paranoid, afraid they plan to kill him for his money.

A famous collector comes to the island to catch a rare butterfly and promises to take the castaways back with him--after he finds his prey. Mysteriously, Gilligan's hair goes white, and when the ladies try to dye it black while he's asleep, it all falls out--leaving him bald. Mad scientist Dr. Boris Balinkoff returns with a magic ring--which places the castaways under his evil control.

Gilligan is having problems with his vision, and headhunters are stalking the castaways. One-by-one the female castaways vanish, and when the Professor deduces that headhunters are not to blame, he believes one of the men has become mentally deranged.

Gilligan is made deputy sheriff of the island, and in his zeal arrests all the other castaways. A man spends a week with the castaways as a part of a game show dare to spend a week on a deserted island. The Skipper becomes disconsolate when the Maritime Board concludes the shipwreck was his fault. Gilligan becomes the prey for a big-game hunter who comes to the island eager to stalk a human. An ape man terrorizes the castaways until they discover he's just an actor practicing a role.

Gilligan survives a lightning strike, but he becomes a human magnet--and his iron-ore bowling ball is permanently stuck to his hand. Gilligan believes he is descended from headhunters when he finds a perfect likeness of his head atop a totem pole. Gilligan finds a prehistoric stone tablet that tells how to get off the island. Gilligan saves a native girl's life, but she is now bound to him as his slave out of gratitude. The Professor thinks a jet pack that washed up on the island could be the way to be rescued.

Gilligan doesn't realize the molding plastic he finds is really plastic explosives. A native king arrives at the island looking for a white goddess--who must marry a volcano.
